Investing is social. The data never was.
Every investor in India already compares portfolios. It happens in group chats, over cropped screenshots, with the losing trades quietly left out of frame. The instinct is good — you learn more from someone whose situation resembles yours than from any anonymous tip. The evidence is just terrible.
Social replaces the screenshot. You connect your broker, your holdings import themselves, and your circle sees positions that neither of you can edit. The conversation stays the same; the numbers underneath it finally hold up.
That only works if the circle is real, which is why communities are gated — an invite code for friends, a verified email and a one-time code for your college or office, and an admin review for alumni and ex-colleagues who no longer hold the address.

Every number on Social is read from a real broker account. Nobody types their returns in, so nobody can round them up.
Uncertainty is shown, not smoothed
When we can’t price a holding, we exclude it and say so. A total that hides what it doesn’t know is worse than no total.
Contributing pays, lurking costs
Credits are the whole social contract. Keeping your portfolio fresh earns them; looking at someone else’s spends them.
Small circles over big audiences
We are not building a feed for strangers. Friend groups, your college, your office — the people whose numbers you can place.

Is this investment advice?
No. Social by BharatStox is a portfolio-sharing network, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. We show what people you know actually hold. We never recommend a trade, a stock or a strategy.
Can you trade on my account?
No. The broker connection is read-only and runs through smallcase Gateway. We receive holdings, never your credentials.
Who can see my portfolio?
Only members of groups and communities you have joined, and only when they spend credits to unlock it. Leaving a group ends that access.
Can I delete everything?
Yes — deleting your account removes your profile, portfolios, brokers, communities and credits.
